Usually found in the southern United States, this freshwater species is considered one of the less aggressive ones. The alligator is certainly not a crocodile. Its short and stout head, smooth scales make its skin immediately recognisable. The alligator is the preferred species for watch bands/straps, with its characteristic scales, very squared, and the marked contrasts between the scale patterns of the flanks and the belly.

These small skins average between 23 - 27cm, in a substance of around 1.0mm. Perfect for small leathergoods such as accessories, cardholders, purses, small bags and watch straps to name a few. All skins are in stock and are sold with CITES documentation.
